Sustainability

All of our operations are guided by a commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact at every stage. Our modern fleet of Euro 6 trucks delivers cleaner performance with up to 55% lower nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and 95% fewer particulates compared to older models — helping to improve air quality and reduce our carbon footprint. Each vehicle is equipped with road-friendly air suspension to minimise surface impact during transport.

We also offer the option to produce and deliver aggregates using HVO fuel, a renewable biofuel made from waste vegetable oils and animal fats. This innovative fuel can reduce carbon emissions by up to 90%, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional diesel. By choosing Western Material Supplies, contractors across Galway, Clare, and the surrounding areas can partner with a supplier that delivers quality materials responsibly — building stronger foundations for a cleaner, greener future.
